Using the R11 Gate Handles
When attaching tape to the gate handle, first feed tape through the flat rings and then feed it back through the middle of the two rings. Attach the gate to its latch (R36V or R10V) and pull it tight enough to take up half the slack in the spring. If the gate is at the end of a run tensioners are not required as the gate spring will provide enough tension to the tape. An R10V is sufficient to act as a latch.
You Will Need
Pigtail Insulator – R10V
10mm long screw in pigtail insulators for thinner electric tapes.
Insulated sprung gate handle – R11
Stainless steel sprung electric fence gate handle. Designed specifically for tapes, the gate has a connecting buckle at the end of the spring that attaches to the tape like a raincoat buckle. The other end hooks onto a tensioner wire (R36N).
Electric fence tensioner – R36V
A tensioner to hold electrical tape and keep it taught.
