Description
Teflon insulated multi-core cable for electric fence systems
Normal or industrial flex cannot carry very high voltages as the insulation will break down rapidly. Teflon insulated multi-core cable is a specially manufactured, double-insulated cable sold by the metre.
It carries the power from a mains energiser to the nearest tape point or carries power between tape runs.
It can be laid above or below ground. If laid under gates or underground generally, it is wise to encase it in some old hose to stop the insulation being cut by sharp stones or hooves.
