Description
Lightning Diverter – RL57
The lightning diverter can sustain moderate lightning strikes and protects your mains energiser.
It is advisable to install one in the power cable going from the energiser to the start of the fence system.
In common with all other such devices it cannot protect against heavy lightning strikes.
Not for battery energisers
With battery energisers the installation of a lightning diverter is impractical and the energiser must instead be disconnected from the fence if there is any likelihood of lightning.
